ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for the Annual UUCM Music Program Spring Fling Event!

The evening will kick off at 7:30pm in Fletcher Hall with the UUCM Youth Band The Half Steps opening for Sleeping Bee, which includes our very own UUCM member Randy Crafton.

Sleeping Bee combines the talents of bassist and multi-instrumentalist Lindsey Horner of Jazz and multi-genre renown, Andy Goessling of Railroad Earth, guitarist and singer, Timothy Hill and percussionist, Randy Crafton. While labels fall short, their music has been referred to as “World Folk Jazz” and exists in that unique early 21st century area where Folk, Jazz, Celtic song forms, melodic improvisation, and original ideas all happily co-exist and vitalize each other. The sound of Sleeping Bee is both strikingly original and hauntingly familiar.

The event is BYOB and will include a luscious homemade dessert spread for your enjoyment.
